Evaluating Plagiarism software

Is plagiarism an issue for you in your classes?  Would you like to have assistance in identifying plagiarism and educating your students about plagiarism?  The Faculty IT Advisory Council is beginning to evaluate the need for plagiarism software at Washburn.  At the last FITAC meeting on March 13th, a representative from Turnitin demonstrated their product for us and recorded that demonstration.

You can access the recorded demo here:   Turnitin demo for Washburn.

We would love to hear your thoughts about this product and the need for plagiarism software at Washburn.  Please either respond to this post or contact your FITAC representative to provide your feedback.
