Covers email, announcements, roster, file upload, link sharing, and gradebook. You only need to go to 1 session.

Desire2Learn Full Training

All full training the week of August 13 – 17, and again August 20 – 24. Come to any or all training sessions.

  • Communication Tools Training – Covers Email, Classlist, Announcements, and Calendar
    • Monday, August 13 from 11:00 am – 12:30 pm – Henderson Learning Center 108
    • Monday, August 20 from 12:00 pm – 1:30 pm – Technology Learning Center – Bennett 102
  • Content Tools Training – Covers creating modules, uploading and creating files, creating links, and release conditions
    • Tuesday, August 14 from 11:00 pm – 12:30 pm- Henderson Learning Center 108
    • Tuesday, August 21 from 12:00 pm – 1:30 pm – Technology Learning Center – Bennett 102
  • Assignment Tools Training –  Covers creation and grading of Discussions and Assignments
    • Wednesday, August 15 from 11:00 am – 12:30 pm- Henderson Learning Center 108
    • Wednesday, August 22 from 12:00 pm – 1:30 pm – Technology Learning Center – Bennett 102
  • Quiz Tool Training – Covers creation and grading of Quizzes
    • Thursday, August 16 from 11:00 am – 12:30 pm- Henderson Learning Center 108
    • Thursday, August 23 from 12:00 pm – 1:30 pm – Technology Learning Center – Bennett 102
  • Grades Tool Training – Covers setup of gradebook and connecting Discussions, Assignments, and Quizzes to the gradebook
    • Friday, August 17 from 11:00 am – 12:30 pm – Henderson Learning Center 108
    • Friday, August 24 from 12:00 pm – 1:30 pm – Technology Learning Center – Bennett 102

Sign-up is not required for any of these On-Campus Training sessions.

 

Online Training

Everyone with a MyWashburn account has access to Desire2Learn. From the D2L homepage, select Faculty D2L Training. Faculty and students can also access Online Student Resource Center, which includes Desire2Learn training for students.
